![]() ![]() Hope that this helps, and that MS not only starts reading people's posts, since this seems to be their substitute for posting up to date comprehensive technical information, but also that they fix Edge so that if you close it without going through it's nice, If this happens then you'll have to reinstall whatever was affected. NOTE: doing a system restore may screw up software that you've already installed. However, doing a System Restore should also set Edge back to "it's never been opened before" and then you can open it, go through the 3 steps by clicking on each one when you open Edge for the first time. Google "reinstall Microsoft Edge" to find them. There are instructions about reinstalling Edge by deleting a directory and running a powershell script, and they seem to work for lots of people. I found a bug in Edge: During first use if you do not go through the 3 steps that are displayed then the new tab options will do nothing and a blank page will always open no matter what new tab option that you pick. As usual, the reply posted by the Microsoft "Support Engineer" shows that that person did not read your post, or did not understand what they read. ![]()
